Penguin viewing advice

When coming ashore, penguins are alert for any sign of predators. If seen, you will be viewed as a threat and the penguins may stay at sea leaving their young unfed, and you disappointed. Settle yourself comfortably BEFORE last light. Stay low to the ground making yourself as invisible as possible. Keep noise, light and movement to a minimum. If experienced personnel are present please take their advice. To view penguins is a privilege. Your cooperation will ensure that this remarkable experience continues. Arrival of the penguins on shore may vary. Be patient, most birds will arrive within 2-3 hours of sunset.
